KIM KYNE COHEN

BIO

Kim Kyne Cohen is a Los Angeles–based ceramic sculptor, painter, and accessories designer. Her work blends a distinct sense of play with themes of religion and sexuality, offering sharp, often humorous commentary on the absurdity of the human condition. Cohen frequently uses mischievous gingerbread figures to investigate the body—stripping away surface differences in order to convey universal truths succinctly.

Her artwork has been exhibited at the Contemporary Jewish Museum and Craft Contemporary, as well as numerous galleries across Los Angeles and New York. Her work has also been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Forbes and PAPER magazine.
